Webinar: Start Strong: How to launch or transition into a career in cyber security

Start a career in cyber security

The cyber security industry is growing – are you ready to seize the opportunity? The demand for cyber security professionals is at an all-time high, with millions of vacancies worldwide. According to the 2024 ISC2 Cybersecurity Workforce Study, the current global cyber security workforce stands at approximately 5.5 million professionals. However, the workforce gap—the number of additional professionals needed to adequately secure organisations—has grown to 4.7 million in 2024, representing a 19.1% increase from the previous year. If this trend continues, the global cyber security workforce shortage is expected to exceed 5.5 million by 2025.

Industries like IT, healthcare, e-commerce, research, and defence are urgently seeking specialists to protect critical systems and sensitive data as cyber threats evolve. If you're starting out, transitioning from another industry, or looking to enhance your skills, now is the time to position yourself for success in this dynamic field.
