Andrew is a highly experienced consultant renowned for his expertise in the GDPR, data privacy and cyber security. With a career spanning the public and regulated sectors, he has demonstrated exceptional skills in GDPR implementation, data privacy programme management, risk assessment (including DPIAs (data protection impact assessments)) and cyber security management. Andrew is also an accomplished ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 auditor.
His most notable achievements include creating the GDPR Implementation and Management Tool and delivering GDPR gap analysis, audit and privacy audit services for various organisations. He has implemented GDPR programmes for financial institutions, charities and the NHS, and has led DPIAs for a global construction company.
Andrew’s career began in public-sector data privacy under the Data Protection Act 1998. He later transitioned to cyber security, earning CompTIA® Network+ certification. In 2016, he developed a widely used GDPR project management tool. Since 2018, Andrew has been a sought-after expert in data privacy and cyber security, regularly helping clients with programme redesigns and audits.
