Our FastTrack™ ISO 20000 consultancy service will help your organisation get ready for ISO 20000 certification within three months.

This offer is available at a fixed price to outsourced service providers with fewer than 25 employees, based in a single location.

Our extensive experience of IT service management (ITSM) programme implementations and ISO 20000 certifications means there is no need for you to invest significant time, money or effort into acquiring the right skills – we will take care of the entire implementation, from inception to certification..


The service includes:

  • A project scoping session to identify:
    • Requirements of the SMS;
    • Policies;
    • Business objectives; and
    • Critical procedures.
  • Development and implementation of a functional and effective SMS:
  • An SMS process inventory to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018.
  • All process and framework documentation.
  • Facilitation of the first management review meeting.
  • An internal SMS audit before certification, which will identify any additional recommendations to help make sure the certification audit is successful.
  • Guidance on the development and delivery of appropriate training and awareness content.
  • Help selecting a UKAS-accredited certification body that is able to respond to your need for reasonably priced and rapid certification.

Ongoing support and maintenance

To ensure ongoing certification to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 and continued monitoring and review, IT Governance is also able to provide, at an additional cost*, programme support in three ways:

  1. SMS maintenance – corrective and preventive actions, document updates and risk reviews.
  2. Internal audit service – checks that controls in place are working as expected and advice on how they can be improved.
  3. Attendance at certification audits – provision of an on-site lead auditee to answer the external auditor’s questions.

Certification fees

We will help you select a certification body whose fees will be appropriate and which can respond to your need for a rapid certification process. Our fees do not include the costs of UKAS-accredited certification, which are paid directly to the certification body.
