About the IT Governance Executive Club


What is the IT Governance Executive Club?

The IT Governance Executive Club is a rewards programme where you earn points with every order. The more points you earn, the more benefits you will receive.

These benefits include early access to new products and an exclusive resource library portal, discounts, free gifts, and much more!

How do I join the IT Governance Executive Club?

After your organisation places an order with IT Governance, either through our online shop or via our friendly sales teams, you will automatically be enrolled onto the IT Governance Executive Club.

One contact per organisation will have access to our online loyalty area, allowing you to view points, access vouchers and more. Simply place your first order, and we’ll take care of the rest!


I don’t want to be part of the IT Governance Executive Club – how can I leave?

If you would like to leave the IT Governance Executive Club, you can do so by emailing us. By leaving the IT Governance Executive Club, you will forfeit the right to any points or vouchers already accrued or issued through the scheme.

If you wish to opt back into the scheme at any time, please email us.


How do I update my contact information in the IT Governance Executive Club online portal?

If you need to update your information in the IT Governance Executive Club online area, please email us with your changes.


My colleague has already signed up to the programme. Can I join too?

Your membership in the IT Governance Executive Club will be based on your organisation. If we already have previous contact and an account with your colleague, they will automatically be able to see their membership details within their My Account area.

If your colleague is new to dealing with IT Governance and doesn’t yet have an account to access their benefits from, please email our member care team.

One contact per organisation will have access to our online area, allowing you to view points, your vouchers and more. If you need to switch who in your organisation has access to the portal, please email our member care team.


Can I transfer my membership to another person within the organisation?

If you need to update your information in the IT Governance Executive Club online area, please email us with any changes.


What data will be collected when I join the IT Governance Executive Club?

No additional data is required from you to join the IT Governance Executive Club. Data is gathered upon your purchase with IT Governance and is processed to enable us to maintain communications, as stated in our Privacy Notice.


Can I opt out of receiving marketing emails while still being part of the IT Governance Executive Club?

Enrolment in the IT Governance Executive Club means you will automatically receive IT Governance marketing and programme-related emails. Members may opt out of receiving IT Governance and IT Governance Executive Club emails at any time by following the instructions provided in the email.

Opting out will mean that account details and voucher information will only be visible within the IT Governance Executive Club online portal.

Earning points


How do I earn Executive Club points?

After your organisation places an order with IT Governance, either through our online shop or via our friendly sales teams, you will earn one point for each £1 spent. Please see the section ‘How do I earn bonus Executive Club points’ below for more information on when you can earn more points than this base rate. Please allow 24 hours for points to be visible in your account.

Please note that points are not redeemable as currency to buy products. They are used only to identify your progress within the programme tiers.


How do I earn bonus Executive Club points?

Bonus points can be earned at certain points throughout the year to help you progress to a higher tier more quickly. For example, you may be able to earn two points per £1 spent, or earn additional points when purchasing specific products.

Any bonus point promotions will be visible within your My Account area, communicated via email and subject to our Terms and Conditions.


How long are my Executive Club points valid for?

Upon enrolment in the IT Governance Executive Club, you will be assigned a tier expiry date. Points will be valid for a year and expire after 12 months.

You have 12 months to earn enough points to enter the next tier. If you are already on Gold and maintain enough points, you will remain on Gold.

If after 12 months you have not reached the next tier, you will be downgraded from your current tier to a lower one until you reach enough points to progress again. If you are already on the entry level tier, you will remain on this.


What should I do if I haven’t received any membership confirmation after placing an order?

Please allow 24 hours to receive your membership confirmation. This will come through to you via email from executiveclub@itgovernance.co.uk.

If after 24 hours you still have not received your details, please email our member care team.


Do points earned from previous years carry over to the current year?

No. Points are only valid for 12 months and cannot be carried over.


Can I earn points for orders placed before joining the IT Governance Executive Club?

No. Points can only be earned after you’ve joined the IT Governance Executive Club. Purchases before your enrolment will not count towards your points.


Can I purchase products using a combination of points and cash/card payment?

No. Points cannot be redeemed and do not have a cash value.


What happens if I return a product that earned me points?

IT Governance is entitled to remove points at any time where full or partial refunds are made. You can view your points balance in your IT Governance Executive Club member area.

How do I report a missing or incorrect points allocation on my account?

You can view your points balance in your IT Governance Executive Club member area. Please allow 24 hours for points to be visible in your account. If you have any queries regarding your points balance, please email our member care team.

 

Tiers and benefits


What are the tiers within the IT Governance Executive Club?

The IT Governance Executive Club is made up of the following tiers based on your account’s point level:

  • Entry level = 1-3,000 points per year
  • Bronze = 3,001-10,000 points per year
  • Silver = 10,001-20,000 points per year
  • Gold = 20,001-50,000 points per year
  • Platinum = 50,001+ points per year

Your tier and points status can be found within your IT Governance Executive Club member area, as well as in emails from us.


How can I view my benefits within the IT Governance Executive Club?

Your member benefits can be found on the IT Governance Executive Club online area.

How can I progress to another tier?

Place your order with us to keep earning points. Once you reach the next points band, you will be upgraded to the relevant tier.

We’ll let you know via email once this has happened. Your tier is also visible within your IT Governance Executive Club member area.


Can I be downgraded to a lower tier?

Moving down to a lower tier can happen on your tier expiry date if not enough points have been secured to move up to the next level.

Don’t worry though, as soon as you earn enough points, you will advance back again.


How can I get my early access to new products?

One benefit of being an IT Governance Executive Club member is receiving exclusive early access to new products before we launch them to the public.

How can I access the referral scheme?

To get involved with the referral scheme, log in to the area.

How can I access my online discounts?

One benefit of being a Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum member is receiving online discounts. Bronze members are entitled to an online discount of 2.5%, Silver members are entitled to an online discount of up to 5%, Gold members are entitled to an online discount of 7.5%, and Platinum members are entitled to an online discount of 10%.

Gold and Platinum members will also receive 5% discount on our Cyber Incident Response Tabletop Exercises and Cyber Incident Response Readiness Assessment services.

Please note that entry level members will not receive loyalty-related discounts and will need to earn enough points to progress to Silver membership.

Loyalty discounts are automatically applied and visible on product pages to show your savings. Discounts can only be claimed online and are not valid for purchases through sales teams.

How can I book my training needs analysis with an expert?

One benefit of being a Silver, Gold and Platinum member is receiving twice-yearly needs analysis sessions with an expert. These sessions are complimentary and can be booked by emailing our member care team.

How can I claim my unlimited training course date or learner changes?

One benefit of being a Silver, Gold and Platinum member is receiving unlimited training course date or learner changes. These changes can be actioned by emailing our member care team.

Redeeming free gifts


How do I redeem free gifts from the IT Governance Executive Club?

At various times, we like to send you free gifts as our way of saying thank you for your continued loyalty.

Details of your free gift will be sent via email and will include a unique discount code that can be redeemed on a selection of products within a specific website shop category. Free-gift codes must be redeemed before the expiry date, which will be outlined in your email. Codes are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

You can also log in to the IT Governance Executive Club online area to see your vouchers.


How do I redeem my gift from referring another customer?

Once you have completed the process set out in the referral scheme, you will qualify for a £50 voucher to redeem across our online shop.

Details of your voucher will be sent via email and must be redeemed before the expiry date, which will be outlined in your email. Codes are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

You can also log in to the IT Governance Executive Club online area to see your vouchers.


Are there any limitations on the number of free gifts I can receive in a year?

No – there is no limit. Free gifts are triggered at various times within your membership – it’s our way of saying thank you for your continued loyalty.

You can access the IT Governance Executive Club online area here, as well as via your My Account area. To log in, simply enter the email address and password associated with your www.itgovernance.co.uk account.

What can I access in the IT Governance Executive Club online area?

By logging in to the IT Governance Executive Club online area, you can view your organisation’s points level, tier status, vouchers and more. The portal is also where you can generate referral links to get involved with our referral member benefits.


What do I do if I am having issues logging in to the IT Governance Executive Club online area?

If you have forgotten your login details for the IT Governance website, you can reset your password here.

Referral scheme


What do I receive as part of referring another organisation to the IT Governance Executive Club?

One of your member benefits of being part of the IT Governance Executive Club is being able to access our referral scheme. This allows you to refer other organisations to become part of the IT Governance Executive Club in exchange for money to spend online.

The money you receive will be in the form of a discount code that can be redeemed across the online shop. Free-gift codes must be redeemed before the expiry date, which will be outlined in your email. Codes are non-transferrable and non-refundable.


How can I refer another organisation?

To get involved with the referral scheme, simply log in to the IT Governance Executive Club online portal and navigate to ‘Referral Scheme’.

From there you can generate a unique link for your account to send to other organisations so they can shop with us and join the IT Governance Executive Club. You can send this link to as many organisations as you wish – you will be rewarded each time a new organisation completes the process.

To qualify, the referred organisation must use your unique link to place its first order on the IT Governance website. After its first purchase, it will then automatically be enrolled in the club, and you will be emailed your free gift.

Can I refer others in my own organisation?

Unfortunately not. To qualify, the referral must be part of a separate business and must be a new organisation that has not shopped with IT Governance before.

Is there a limit on how many organisations I can refer?

No! We would love to see you invite as many organisations as you wish to shop with us and join the IT Governance Executive Club. Your link can be generated within the area by navigating to ‘Referral Scheme’, and remains the same for each organisation you refer.

What should I do if I encounter an error while trying to generate my referral link?

To generate your unique link to send to your connections, simply log in to the IT Governance Executive Club online portal and navigate to ‘Referral Scheme’. From there you will see a button to generate your link.
